Controlled-Release Fertilizer where compound fertilizer granules are coated with biodegradable polymer membrane that enables predictable releases of nutrients influenced only by soil temperature. The higher the soil temperature the faster the nutrient releases. Moisture, soil pH and activities of soil microorganisms have no impact on the rate of nutrient release.
